New vehicle fees effective July 1, 2020.
Passenger carrying vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, autocycles, pickup trucks and panel trucks will see a reduction in registration fees. (Excludes rental and for hire passenger vehicles.) See DMV Fees.

A new HIghway Use Fee may be imposed at the time of registration for "fuel efficient" and electric vehicles to recoup the fuels tax not paid by the owners of fuel efficient vehicles having a combined mile per gallon (MPG) rating of 25 MPG or greater. See Highway Use Fee for more information.
