RICHMOND - The Town of Haymarket has notified the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) it will not renew its contract to provide DMV Select services and will close its DMV Select office effective July 1.
Nearby DMV offices include the Prince William/Manassas, Fairfax/Westfields, Fair Oaks Mall and Warrenton Customer Service Centers. There is also a DMV Select office in Fairfax City.
The Haymarket DMV Select has been operating since July 1, 2021. DMV is actively looking for a new partner nearby to serve the community.
DMV contracts with local governments to offer customers mostly vehicle-related transactions at DMV Selects. Transactions that can be conducted at DMV Selects include vehicle titles and registrations, license plates and decals, disabled parking placards, transcripts, voter registration applications and more.
