RICHMOND - Richmond's annual Shamrock The Block street festival has moved to Leigh Street this year, which is behind the Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) Richmond Central Customer Service Center. The Richmond location will remain open to customers during regularly scheduled hours - 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 11; however, customers are advised to be alert for road closures and increased pedestrian traffic.
The Richmond City Police Department has provided a helpful road closure map to plan your trip ahead of time.
This also may be an opportunity for customers to consider a nearby location to avoid traffic delays. There are four locations within an 11-mile radius in Henrico and Chesterfield.
