RICHMOND - The Charlottesville City Treasurer’s Office is reopening its DMV Select office today, September 16 after an extended closure due to renovations. The DMV Select is located inside on 605 East Main Street, A120, Charlottesville, VA 22902 inside the City Hall building.
DMV contracts with local governments to offer customers mostly vehicle-related transactions at DMV Selects. Transactions that can be conducted at DMV Selects include vehicle titles and registrations, license plates and decals, disabled parking placards, transcripts, and more.
The Charlottesville DMV Select office operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., supporting nearby customer service centers. Parking is available in the Market Street and Water Street Parking Garages. With this venue reopening, DMV now has 60 DMV Select partners available throughout the Commonwealth.
