Hearing Impaired Photo Identification Card

If you have a hearing impairment, you may obtain a hearing impaired identification card unless you hold a driver's license. This ID card does not provide special privileges; but, it does state that you have a hearing impairment. This ID card is the same as an adult ID card except it bears the notation "Hearing Impaired ID". Refer to adult ID cards for more information.

For ID card examples, refer to images of driver's licenses and identification cards.

A driver's license indicator is available for drivers who are hearing impaired. This indicator is placed on the driver's license in order to identify the disability to law enforcement personnel.
