Access to Richmond Central DMV Limited During Dec. 1 Parade
Customers Urged to Plan Ahead

RICHMOND- Road closures for Saturday’s Christmas Parade will limit access to DMV’s Richmond Central Customer Service Center (CSC) at 2300 West Broad Street. According to parade organizers, Hermitage Road, Leigh Street, and DMV Drive will close to traffic December 1 at 5 a.m. Broad Street in front of the DMV office will close at 9 a.m.

"Our Richmond Central office is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.," said DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb. "With the street closures, we anticipate some challenges for customers attempting to get to the customer service center. We encourage customers to plan ahead and allow extra time to travel to DMV to conduct business on Saturday."

• East Henrico, 5517 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231
• West Henrico, 9237 Quioccasin Road, Richmond, VA 23229
• Chesterfield, 610 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, VA 23236

When DMV is closed or anytime, customers may visit www.dmvNOW.com to sign up for a myDMV account and take care of their DMV business online. Customers can conduct more than 30 different secure transactions with a myDMV account and personal identification number (PIN), such as renewing driver’s licenses or ID cards, and they may obtain information specific to them, such as their driving records.
