DMV 2 Go Richmond, nicknamed 'Mosby' (keeping with the 'Mo' for mobile office naming convention), made its debut in metro-Richmond in October 2014. Mosby was formerly a book mobile that was renovated by DMV staff into a full-service customer service center. This handicap-accessible bus is 28-feet long and 5-feet wide. Mosby has three customer service work stations and two testing stations.

Mosby serves Central Virginia; west to Page County; east to Westmoreland County and south to Halifax, Mecklenburg and Brunswick Counties. To view specific jurisdictions in Monique's service area, see the high resolution printable map.

Mosby on the Go

Some highlights of Mosby's travels in the Richmond area include stops at the McGuire Veterans Hospital, General Assembly building, and Defense Supply Center. Mosby's visits also include supplementing services at DMV Selects in Cumberland, Hanover, King George, Palmyra, Amelia, and Mineral. In addition, Mosby provides services at events such as Hooray for Hopewell, the Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show, and numerous veterans' events.
